KAMPALA, Uganda — Vivo Energy Uganda on Tuesday reopened its refurbished Shell Lugogo service station in Kampala, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to providing high-quality services and products.
The refurbishment, which began in September 2024 and was completed in December, included a comprehensive upgrade and expansion of the station’s facilities to accommodate growing vehicular traffic and customer demand.
The upgraded services include new, state-of-the-art fuel pumps and modernized fuelling lanes to ease traffic flow and provide more parking space. The service bay area has also been expanded, while the main office and Select shop building have had an additional storey added to accommodate financial services and two restaurants.
The service station offers Shell’s world-renowned fuel products, including Shell V-Power and Shell FuelSave, known for their quality and performance. The modernized station has also enhanced safety and environmental standards in line with Vivo Energy Uganda’s commitment to sustainable operations.
