KAMPALA – The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) officials will on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 brief the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Museveni, and other Ministry officials on the outcome of the Primary Leaving Examinations for the year 2023.
This is in line with the mandate of the Board.
The briefing, a precursor to the release of the results, will take place at State House, Kampala on Wednesday afternoon.
The briefing will be done by Dan Odongo, the UNEB’s executive secretary, and the board’s chairperson, Professor Celestino Obua.
After the briefing, an announcement of the official date for the release of the results, and the related modalities will be done.
This website however understands that PLE exams will be released on Thursday, January 25, 2024, owing to the delay caused by the just concluded Non-Aligned Movement Summit.
How to check the 2023 PLE exam results
As soon as the results are released, UNEB said candidates, parents, and stakeholders will be able to access the results of individual learners via SMS by typing PLE <Space> Full Index Number, e.g. 003301/368 and send to 6600 on all mobile telecom networks.
Headteachers and school Administrators will access the results through the UNEB portal using their usual details.
