KAMPALA, UGANDA – APRIL 30, 2024 – Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has announced a temporary road closure at Chepsukunya bridge along the Muyembe-Nakapiripirit road due to heavy rains and flash floods in the area.
According to a statement released by UNRA on Tuesday, April 30, the closure is necessary to allow the contractor working on the Muyembe-Nakapiripirit road project to intervene and restore connectivity. Road users are advised to utilize alternative routes until the situation is resolved.
