Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has released the activity calendar for 2022, indicating that candidates will sit for national exams from October 14-December 9.
Registration of candidates will start this month and end on May 31.
“Late registration, however, attracts a surcharge of 50% of the total registration fees at UCE and UACE levels, and 100% surcharge at PLE level,” Dan Odongo, the UNEB executive director warned.
Candidates under universal education won’t pay for registration as the government caters for this.
In April, the Board will validate examination centres, which will be followed by display of candidates’ slips from August 1 – September 30. UNEB will also make it possible to check the registration status through SMS.
