ITHUBA Uganda, the official operator of the Uganda National Lottery, proudly announces the winners of the largest LOTTO jackpot pay out in the country’s history. With ticket sales going live only nine weeks ago on June 1, 2024, the grand prize of over UGX 1 billion guaranteed jackpot has been won by 11 lucky players.
Kampala, Uganda – In a historic moment for Uganda’s National Lottery, 11 lucky players have shared the record-breaking UGX 1 billion LOTTO jackpot.
The winning numbers, announced by ITHUBA Uganda, the official operator of the Uganda National Lottery, were 8, 31, 35, 42, 46, 47, and bonus number 6. Five winners matched four out of the six winning numbers, securing a share of the UGX 932,340,000 Division 5 prize. Six additional winners matched three numbers plus the bonus number, winning a share of the UGX 73,420,200 Division 6 prize.
This monumental win comes just nine weeks after ticket sales went live on June 1, 2024. Michelle Van Trotsenburg, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at ITHUBA Uganda, expressed her excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to celebrate this historic moment with the winners of Uganda’s largest LOTTO jackpot.”
