KAWEMPE, Uganda — Unilever Uganda’s Royco brand launched its “Share Goodness” campaign Saturday at Masjid Mbogo Mosque, aiming to enrich Ramadan dining experiences for Muslim communities nationwide.
The initiative, rooted in generosity and nourishment, seeks to bring families and communities together for memorable Iftar meals during the sacred season.
Throughout Ramadan, Royco will serve Iftar meals at 25 mosques, fostering community spirit and promoting sharing and kindness. The campaign also features donation drives and activations at select supermarkets, allowing Ugandans to support those in need.
“Ramadan is a time of reflection, devotion, and sharing,” said Grace Nandawula, Head of Customer and Strategy Planning at Unilever Uganda. “With ‘Share Goodness,’ Royco is honored to play a part in turning regular meals into memorable moments for families across Uganda.”
The campaign includes donation bins at 30 supermarkets, QR codes for mobile money contributions, and curated Iftar experiences at participating mosques, featuring meals prepared with Royco’s signature seasoning.
Unilever Uganda reaffirms its commitment to promoting healthier living and fostering togetherness through the “Share Goodness” campaign.
“Ramadan is a time of deep spiritual connection,” Nandawula said. “By supporting communities with nourishing meals, Royco is reinforcing its role in making food a source of joy and unity.”
