Rocket Health one of the leading suppliers of Pharmaceutical ,Labaratory supplies under both retail and wholesale has launched a program through which health facilities will be able to acquire stock on credit.
Through this partnership Rocket Health customers order for goods of their choice and Pezesha pays it for them and later on they pay back to Pezesha with some little interest.
Dr. Davis Musinguzi , the founder of Rocket Health revealed that they have decided to enter into this partnership inorder to enable their customers have enough medical supplies which caters for customers’ demands amidst financial challenges.
“Its from experience that we realized that there are few banks willing to extend inventory financing to Pharmacies , even those willing ,offer crazy interest rates that are not favorable. Secondly , we realized that many people are willing to offer quality health care but lack finances to fulfill this dream.”
He added that they decided to open up a wholesale section basing on the demand in the market as well as saving retail pharmacy operators from several challenges related to acquiring of stock.
“When we were still small in retail pharmacy, we faced a problems in accessing reliable and quality supply of inventory. Its tiresome to go down town, where nobody wants to read your emails , where you have to negotiate for each item you want to purchase and need to carry cash with you although it is very risky.”
Musinguzi adds that their existance in the market has solved all the above challenges because a customer will just have to check for goods online, make an order online, Pay to bank/mobile money/acquire aloan from Pezesha without being physically present at the warehouse and he/she will have the goods delivered to his pharmacy.
Jesca Tusiime from Pezesha noted that before entering in this partnership, they made findings that most people in the business sector need loans but they lack a reliable service provider who can answer their needs in a timely manner.
“Once you are Registered with Rocket health , you won’t be required to fill any other new forms , we shall have to asses your data (already provided) to establish the loan limit you can acess from us.”
The loans amount range from five hundred thousand shillings to forteen million shillings but the limit grows as you pay your loans faithfully.
Douglas Musinguzi , the proprietor of Macom Pharmacy and one of the regular customers of Rocket Health said that
delivering goods at their door steps has greatly saved them time and money.
“I participated in process that led to creation of some of these tools , as a loyal customer i have received alot of benefits and hope to gain more.”
Musinguzi added that with this new initiative , they will be in position to expand their businesses as well as serving their customers to satisfication.
