NAKAWA- Yiga Kisakyamukama, the National Resistance Movement mobilizer and Presidential Assistant on Service delivery has commended Hajji Golooba Ntale for his innovative skills which enabled to start up a facility which employs a large number of young people.
During his suprise visit to Ntale Ointment company on Wednesday, Yiga was amazed to find that the youth in the company were being skilled on how to mix ointments but at the same time earning inform of salaries.
“As a Presidential Assistant, am here to help the President to reach out to his people in this area, so since people in Kampala have no land to practice Agriculture on a 4 acre model, we teach them skills. I have learnt that people here work from a congested area and mixing most of the chemicals with their hands which is abit tiresome and time consuming.”
Kisa promised that he is going to echo all their concerns to the President who will decide what to do next. “Am going to pay school fees for one of the children of that needy children (250,000) per term, i have given those five ladies capital and five hundred shillings capital for a Mobile phone to use in his business.”
He further called upon Ministers in government to always give back to always visit people at grass root level and encourage them.
Hajji Ntale Golooba Adam, the managing director of Ntale Ointment Products Ltd, stated that he has over 500 employees, most of whom are youths. He requested government support to help expand the business and employ even more young people.
“If the government supports us with mechanization, we can expand and employ up to 1,000 youths. As one person employing over 500 youths, I believe that with additional support, I can create even more jobs for Ugandans.” Hajji said.
He expressed gratitude to the Presidential Assistant for visiting their facility and thanked President Museveni for appointing individuals who are committed to grassroots work.
