The tour, scheduled to begin on January 22 and end on January 25, will take Museveni to several districts in the region, where he will visit PDM farmers, commission new projects, and interact with local leaders and residents.
On the first day of his tour, Museveni will visit PDM farmers in Namutumba, Luuka, and Jinja districts. The following day, he will engage in a live media interaction with journalists in the region and commission the Presidential Skilling Hub at Nakabango Jinja City.
Museveni will also launch construction works at Kimaka Airstrip, commission the Abyssinia Steel Factory in Jinja, and address a public rally in Kamuli Municipality.
The president’s tour will conclude on January 25 with the commissioning of the New Tembo Steel Factory in Iganga and an address at a mega boda-boda rally in Iganga District.
