As one of the plans to reduce on number of mothers giving birth without essential items, Movit products limited has launched a campaign dubbed “Baby Junior Gifting Hands Initiative” through which it has given hampers to mothers .
Kitenda Robert Gobii , the head of Marketing Africa at Movit Products limited revealed that they have already donated goodies to a number of Health facilities including Kajjansi Health Center iv and they are still doing the same in many other facilities.
Kitenda added that this is being done to appreciate their customers who have supported them in their transformation journey.
Nankumba Josephine one of the Health practitioners at Kajjansi Healthy Centre iv revealed that they have received many cases of pregnant mothers who seeking maternity services without any essential item.
“We are happy that Movit has been able to respond to this problem by providing these items to mothers . We have hope that these will not only ease our work , but will play a bigger part in improving babies’ lives.”
All the mothers who received these donations , applauded movit for having them at heart and promised to utilize them effectively.
David Beinomugisha Baby Brand Specialist has revealed that this campaign is aimed at giving back to mothers at the same time protecting bodies of their little ones.
“This campaign which we launched at Kawempe hospital will last for six months ending in December. So far we have covered 10 health facilities.”
Beneficiaries of this program are pregnant mothers and breastfeeding mothers who are given items like Baby Junior Vaseline, Buckets, Powder, Baby clothings etc.
