KAMPALA, UGANDA – Police in Kampala have arrested a man, Nsubuga Denis, for allegedly engaging in cyber stalking and distributing pornographic materials. The arrest was made after a complaint was filed by Ms. Doreen Nalunga, also known as Milk bae, who claimed that Nsubuga had circulated a nude video on social media platforms, falsely claiming it was of her.

According to the police, Nsubuga obtained an old nude video of an unidentified person and began circulating it on various social media platforms, claiming it was of Ms. Nalunga. The video sparked outrage and embarrassment for Ms. Nalunga, who immediately reported the matter to the police.

The police launched an investigation and traced Nsubuga, who was subsequently arrested and detained at CPS Kampala. Witnesses have come forward to confirm that the video circulated by Nsubuga is not of Ms. Nalunga, but of another person who has not been identified.

The police have recorded statements from Ms. Nalunga and other witnesses, and are urging the public to be cautious about what they post on social media. “We want to appeal to members of the public to be careful on what they post on social media and they should cross-check any information before posting, otherwise the law will catch up with you,” said Senior Superintendent of Police, Patrick Onyango.

Nsubuga is currently facing charges of cyber stalking and distribution of pornographic materials, and is expected to appear in court soon. The police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation.

This incident highlights the growing concern of cyber stalking and distribution of explicit materials without consent, and the need for individuals to be mindful of their online activities. The police are committed to ensuring that those who engage in such activities are brought to justice.
