Thousands participate in Arua’s 5km Rotary Cancer Run
Arua, Uganda – Shida Leni won the women’s category in the 5km Rotary Cancer Run held in Arua today, finishing third overall. She completed the race in rainy conditions.
Leni, a national record holder in the 400m and 200m events, has been trained by Coaches Kevin and Sue O’Connor for 11 years.
Her victory is attributed to her rigorous training and weight-training regimen, which has been supported by Silver Springs Hotel’s complimentary use of their gym and swimming pool.
Leni’s win demonstrates her exceptional athletic ability and dedication to her craft.
