Kyabazinga praises King Mswati III for cultural preservation

King Mswati III of Eswatini meets with Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV of Busoga during his visit to Eswatini

ESWATINI – Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV is currently on a five-day visit to Eswatini, where he has commended King Mswati III for his efforts in promoting cultural tourism in Eswatini and Africa.

The Kyabazinga attended a dinner event honoring sponsors of the Ingwenyama Cultural tournament, where he acknowledged King Mswati’s dedication to preserving cultural heritage.

“As I wind up my remarks, let’s continue strengthening our relationship and working closely in order to foster togetherness and development for our people,” Kyabazinga said.

He expressed gratitude for the invitation and emphasized the importance of cultural exchanges between their kingdoms. He praised King Mswati for maintaining traditional cultural practices and developing Eswatini’s infrastructure.

“Kyabazinga hailed his counterpart for keeping the original cultural norms and practices, which remains the greatest African example of cultural expression in the world,” he said.

King Mswati welcomed the Kyabazinga and reiterated the strong brotherhood between their kingdoms. He expressed support for bilateral cultural programs and stronger interactions among African leaders.

“On his part, King Mswati III extended a warm welcome to the Kyabazinga and his entourage to the great Eswatini kingdom and thanked him for accepting the invitation,” he said.

The Kyabazinga’s delegation includes prominent officials from the Busoga Kingdom. Their visit aims to foster closer ties between the two nations, with discussions focusing on strengthening cultural exchanges, tourism, and people-to-people interactions for social-economic benefits.
