Andrew Deng, a second-year student at Kampala International University has decided to drop out of school after winning over 100 million from fixed games.
According to Deng, he risked his hostel fees and his pocket money to subscribe to Uganda Bettors Association’s fixed games.
“For the past two years, I have been reading stories of these guys on the news with different positive testimonies. I was skeptical but I had to take a risk because I was motivated by Hamis Kiggundu who one time mentioned that ‘youth will always be poor if they do not take risks,’ he also said that never take anything good you see online as scam; somethings are worth trying! It’s upon this motivation that I picked my phone and went straight to their website, paid the subscription, and later received an email with what exactly I needed,” he narrated.
“After placing the bets, I switched off my phones until the following day, when I logged in, my eyes were on the account balance! It was a shock to my eyes. I called the betting company on how to collect the money and I was given directions,” he said.
Allan later revealed that he will not be continuing with his studies because it’s now ‘useless’ to him.
“I don’t see any use of me being at school because am studying to get a job that will later pay me but I have got the money now. Most rich businessmen in Uganda are not even educated, they simply employed people with skills to do what they wanted,” he roared.
