Agents and Unit Managers at Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda have been recognized and awarded for their efforts and excellent work for the past year 2023.
This happened at Sheraton hotel Kampala during the annual Jubilee club membership convention on Friday 9th February 2024.
The event honoured individuals across five distinct categories including Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
Dorcus Namara, chief operations officer at Jubilee Insurance Uganda, stated how important it is to celebrate efforts and achievements of these agents and financial advisors.
“This day is a very special, we get to celebrate all efforts they have done in the past year, we get to see new customers joining on board, we get to see existing customers pay up thier premiums and this is because the agents and financial advisors have been engaging them.” She noted.
“We do celebrate them and encouraging them that what they do is special and and is important. We have over 600 agents that do support us”. She added.
Namara also talked about the predominance of female agents in insurance industry especially at Jubilee, attributing it to the encouragement of the girl child and the patience of women in the insurance field.
She noted that ladies exhibit a pervasive attitude towards customers. “While we continue to encourage men to join this profession, we appreciate the patience and dedication shown by our female agents,” she further noted.
On his part, Mr. Kumar Sumit Gaurav, the chief executive officer of Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda, emphasized the significance of honouring these agents, highlighting their proximity to customers.
He further said that it is important to align strategies with all agents and distribution channels for the growth of the company.
“It is important to align them and build upon the strategies we have. This convention presents the perfect opportunity to disseminate our message to them,” he noted.
“All of you are winners, and we appreciate your tireless efforts, which led to a successful 2023 for Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda,” we hope that you maintain the same dedication and hard work to achieve the targets set for 2024,” he added.
Among the top performers were Babirye Katrina, Nassaka Agnes, Twebaze Eunice, Tunihira Rebecca, Namuyomba Resty, , Kiconco Caroline, Nalwoga Sylvia, Bushemere Sheilah, Tumusiime Rashidah, Tugumenawe Eron, Nakayenga Margret, among others.
