Ruth Akello, a seasoned accountant, has taken a significant step towards securing her financial future by investing in the Kuza Plan, a innovative financial product offered by Liberty Life Assurance Uganda.

With nearly 15 years of experience in the corporate world, Akello had always prioritized her profession, often leaving little room for side gigs or other income-generating activities. However, as she approached a significant milestone in her career, she began searching for ways to grow her money sustainably.

Akello’s quest led her to the Kuza Plan, a unique financial product that combines savings and insurance to help individuals build a lasting legacy. Unlike traditional life insurance policies, the Kuza Plan offers a dynamic approach to financial planning, providing a robust safety net and unparalleled flexibility.

“I was drawn to the Kuza Plan’s holistic approach to financial security and growth,” Akello explained in an interview. “The fact that it combines savings with life and disability insurance, while also offering flexibility and growth opportunities, made it an attractive option for me.”

With a minimum investment of just 200,000 Ugandan shillings, Akello found it easy to get started. She appreciated the low entry barrier, which makes the Kuza Plan accessible to both seasoned professionals and those new to financial planning.

Akello’s decision to invest in the Kuza Plan was not made lightly. She thoroughly researched various options and consulted with financial advisors before making her choice. What stood out to her was the Kuza Plan’s commitment to growth, ensuring that investments continue to grow even if premium payments stop.

As Akello continues on her journey to financial security, she encourages others to consider the Kuza Plan. “Whether you’re a corporate professional, business owner, or simply looking to secure a brighter future for your family, the Kuza Plan offers a practical and effective solution,” she said.

Akello’s story resonates with many Ugandans, who are increasingly prioritizing financial planning. According to a 2023 FinScope Uganda survey, 85% of Ugandan adults practice some form of saving, highlighting a strong national culture of financial planning.

Through her journey, Akello hopes to inspire others to take control of their financial futures and build lasting legacies. As she looks to the future, she remains confident in her decision to invest in the Kuza Plan.
