KAMPALA-Owek. Joseph Mulwanyamuli Semwogerere has called upon graduands from the American Leadership Class Academy (ALC-A) to always be open for learning if they are to have a successful career.
While officiating , the second graduation of American Leadership Class in Uganda held at Ndejje University campus in Kampala, Semwogerere noted that being students should end with the graduation ceremony, but it has to be a life long process.
“We are all students until when when we die, I want to emphasize you should never stop learning, irrespective of your age and experience. Always make learning and education your lifelong partner.”
The Katikiro emeritus also asked the graduands never to get intimidated by possibilities of failure and never let obstacles stop them from achieving greatness. “Life is about ups and downs.Always strive to add value on every assignment and engagement you touch.”
On this he noted that his father told always told him not to focus on performing but should look at excelling in life because everyone else is performing.
Dr. Frederick Kakembo the Vice Chancellor for Ndejje University , asked the graduands to focus on putting in action what they have learnt rather than having it in papers.
“We as Ndejje University , we are always ready to support you wherever you need us. Don’t hesitate to participate in our exhibitions we always hold. Come and Participate we shall not charge you any coin.”
Madam Kettie Lowie, a renown educationalist, a Human Rights Activist and the representative of American Leadership Class Academy,
Congratulated all the graduands upon their hard work which has enabled them to excel, however she asked them to always be down to earth individuals who apologize wherever anything goes wrong because it doesn’t affect them in any way.
She also asked them to always be leaders who create serious changes in leadership of this world.
The graduands passed in first class and second class and awarded certificates by Owek. Joseph Mulwanyamuli.
