Dubai, March 17, 2025 (UG STANDARD) – Elevate Bridge Builders on Sunday launched the inaugural Middle East and Africa Cleaning, Sanitation, and Hygiene Awards 2025, aimed at recognizing excellence in hygiene and sanitation innovations.
The awards, which will be presented in August in Dubai, seek to promote and celebrate industry excellence in Africa and the Middle East, according to Sandra Nabakka, Executive Director of Elevate Bridge Builders.

“The objective of this award is to connect with innovators in the field of hygiene… who are excelling in hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning,” Nabakka told UG Standard
The awards will recognize outstanding contributors in various categories, including community and public health, corporate and institutional excellence, and technology and innovation.
Nabakka highlighted the transformative potential of the awards, saying they would provide a platform for young and middle-aged innovators to showcase their work and connect with industry leaders and investors.
“The award finalists will have a chance for a one-on-one session with leading industrial players and proprietors during the awarding ceremony,” Nabakka said.
The initiative aims to promote hygiene and sanitation standards in Africa and the Middle East, where rapidly growing urban and rural communities face significant public health challenges.
“Elevate Bridge Builders seeks to highlight the contributions of key stakeholders in improving cleanliness, health, and overall living conditions,” Nabakka said.
The Middle East and Africa Cleaning, Sanitation, and Hygiene Awards 2025 are open to individuals and organizations in Africa and the Middle East, with the winners to be announced in August.
