Kampala, Uganda – C-Care, one of Uganda’s leading healthcare providers, has launched an ambitious initiative aimed at expanding its reach and making quality healthcare more accessible to every household in the country.
The “Care for Every Household” initiative, unveiled on November 18, is built on three core pillars: accessibility, quality services, and convenience. According to Andrew Mugalu, General Manager of C-Care IMC Uganda, the campaign is designed to bridge the healthcare gap in Uganda by providing comprehensive medical coverage to families across the country.
“We believe that every Ugandan deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their location or socioeconomic background,” Mugalu said. “Our goal is to make C-Care the go-to healthcare provider for every household in Uganda.”
To achieve this, C-Care is leveraging its growing network of 22 facilities across the country, including clinics and admission centers. The company has also introduced a range of specialties to cater to the diverse healthcare needs of families, from pediatric care to geriatric services.
One of the key features of the initiative is the C-Care Health Card, which enables families to load funds and better plan for unexpected healthcare needs. The card is accepted at all C-Care facilities and is available to both insured and uninsured individuals.
Dr. Miriam Mutero, General Manager of C-Care IHK, emphasized the importance of trust in healthcare. “We want every Ugandan household to feel secure knowing they have a healthcare provider they can trust,” she said. “Our team of medical professionals is committed to delivering compassionate, reliable, and professional care to every patient.”
With over 500,000 patients already benefiting from C-Care’s services annually, the company is well-positioned to make a significant impact on Uganda’s healthcare landscape. The “Care for Every Household” initiative is expected to further cement C-Care’s position as a leader in the country’s private healthcare sector.
Industry analysts say the initiative is a welcome development in Uganda’s healthcare industry, where access to quality healthcare remains a challenge for many.
