King Saha Live in Concert! Friday, January 2024!

King Saha’s highly anticipated concert, scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, January 2024, has been halted by police until further notice.

According to the police spokesperson ACP Rusoke Kituuma, the decision was based on advice from their teams on the ground, who deemed the venue unsuitable to host such an event.

Uganda police in Kampala blocked the National Unity Platform (NUP) from launching its "Youth Protest Vote" campaign, citing public order concerns. The opposition initiative aimed to mobilize young voters ahead of future elections, but the police directive has put the campaign's future in doubt.

The spokesperson elaborated that certain requirements had not been met to ensure safety and order during the concert. “If the organizers rectify these issues, the event will be cleared to proceed,” he assured.

However, details about the specific shortcomings of the venue were not disclosed.

Despite the setback, King Saha has remained tight lipped about the police’s decision. Instead, he continues to urge his fans to turn up in large numbers, promising an unforgettable evening of entertainment.

“Enkya Mukeele bannange,” the artist reportedly told his followers on social media, seemingly unfazed by the developments.

The concert, which has been one of the most talked about events in the entertainment circles, had promised a lineup of thrilling performances, with fans eagerly waiting to see the celebrated artist perform live.

Whether the organizers can address the police’s concerns in time remains to be seen, leaving fans in suspense about the fate of the event.

More updates are expected as the situation unfolds.
