KAMPALA, UGANDA – The Balunywa Leadership Academy, a popular Ugandan leadership development platform founded by renowned economist and academic, Prof. Waswa Balunywa, will now charge users a subscription fee.
The Balunywa Leadership Academy, which provides training and resources for individuals seeking to develop their leadership skills, had previously offered its services for free. However, due to operational challenges, the academy has decided to introduce a subscription-based model.
The new fees will be 10,000 Ugandan shillings (approximately $2.70 USD) per session, totaling 40,000 shillings per month. The platform has also reduced the fee for slides to 5,000 shillings per session, totaling 60,000 shillings per month. Quarterly payments of 180,000 shillings are recommended for administrative purposes, although monthly payments will still be accepted.
For the month of December, subscribers are required to pay 20,000 shillings. Those who have paid for more than one month will continue at their current rate until their subscription expires.
