KAMPALA- The screening of Makula movie , one of the latest projects by Nisha Nakalema can be described as one of the events that hasĀ proved to peopleĀ that hard work , patience and team work can lead to success.
The movie which Is in Luganda tells a story of how quick things can land some one in trouble which may even cost someone life if not well handled.
At the screening of this Makula movie at Arena Mall on Tuesday evening, most of the viewers became emotional as they witnessed key actors exercising their roles with expertise thus giving a feeling that it was happening in real life.
āThis movie was produced in Luganda to rule out allegations that all local movies are always of poor quality. Secondly I used Luganda in response to peopleās out cry that they need to have their local movies produced in the language they understand very well.ā Nisha Kalema one of the Key actors and producer told the audience on Tuesday evening.
She was overwhelmed by the turn up and the cheers from the audience during the whole screening process thus giving her courage that people have fallen in love with the movie.
The screening of this move has been and is still being done in various cinema halls around town.
This movie is already doing well in the Uganda Film Festival 2024 with 12 Nominations which is not so common.
The nominations are; Best Make up, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Sound, Best Script, Best Sound, Best Script, Best post production, Best viewerās Choice, Best indigenous film, Best Cinematography, Best Feature film and Best production Design.
