NAIROBI, Kenya — Absa Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) will be the lead sponsor of the 2025 East Africa Property Investment (EAPI) Summit, organizers announced Thursday.
The 12th annual EAPI Summit, East Africa’s premier real estate event, is scheduled for May 7-8 in Nairobi. It is expected to bring together more than 450 global investors, developers, and real estate professionals under the theme “Positioning for Opportunity.”
Absa CIB’s sponsorship marks its third year as the lead supporter of the summit. Sandile Mpanza, Head of Commercial Property Finance for Absa CIB in Africa, said the sponsorship “reinforces our continued commitment to positively shaping the economic development of the African markets in which we operate.”
The summit will feature discussions on investments, capital markets, occupier trends, retail, logistics, hospitality, and affordable housing in East Africa, including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda.
Africa Logistics Properties (ALP), a Nairobi-based property developer, is also a sponsor. Raghav Gandhi, ALP’s CEO, noted the summit’s importance for industry networking and the sharing of insights.
The EAPI Summit provides a platform for networking, deal-making, and gaining insights from industry leaders. Discussions will also address the impact of global challenges on the region’s real estate sector.
