“Christmas is about sharing with one another,” Mayor Oweddembe said. “My wife, the Mayoress, and I have made it a tradition to organize such parties during festive seasons, bringing joy to those who may not have the opportunity to fully celebrate.”

The event featured free performances by local artists, bouncing castles, and a cake-cutting ceremony. Parents, local leaders, and stakeholders from Katanga and surrounding communities attended the party.

Mayor Oweddembe urged individuals and companies to share their blessings with the needy during the festive season, emphasizing the importance of creating lasting memories for children during Christmas.
