Nyakasura school alumni and the school management have launched the mobilization fundraising drive towards collecting adequate funds to prepare the school’s centenary celebrations come 2026
The event held at protea hotel Kampala was graced by the Arch Bishop of the church of Uganda Dr Stephen Kazimba Mugalu who asked them not to lose hope.
The Arch bishop reminded theme to always be hopeful in everything they do, and always be positive
“There’s hope at the end of the rope, the bible says no one can fall and doesn’t raise and I am sure this is the right time”. He said.
Some of the Alumni attended the launch include politicians, business men, ministers and in the judiciary
The chairman of the Finance Committee of the Nyakashura alumni – Mr. Samuel Kazooba commended the Arch bishop who is also the patron of all church of Uganda schools for the great work and support especially in the church house.
He added that merchant codes have been introduced so that fundraising is made easy.
The head master of the school Rev. Balinda Richardson gave the school urged government to give a hand to the school.
The alumni have put various ways to fundraise for the centenary celebrations which include equity bank Momo codes and others.
Hon Aston Kajara, who’s also an OB of Nyakasura school Urged government to extend support to rural schools.
Business man, Patrick Bitatule contributed ugshs10 million, Paul Mugambe ugshs 2 million , former minister Aston Kajara Ugshs 2 million among others.
