KAMPALA – A state of confusion has erupted between the Parents and Manager of Hassan Mubiru, a 19-year-old Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) Player who has threatened to quit football at a young age.
Hajji Adam Ntale Golooba, the Managing Director of Ntale Products and Hassan Mubiru’s agent revealed that this information has greatly shocked him because he has a lot of hope in Mubiru being one of the shining stars in the country today.
“I received information from caretakers that Mubiru was not feeling well and he had locked himself in the house. I rushed there not willing to talk to anybody apart from me, he informed me that he is going to quit football because he trains regularly but wherever there is a match they sidelined him,” said Mubiru’s agent.
Ntale pointed out that the young player gave an example of the forthcoming match in Mbale where the coach has listed players who have not been training but excluded him.
“Mubiru has a four-year contract with KCCA but he is remaining with only two years. What I would advise KCCA FC management is to always find means of keeping players active on the pitch and where it’s not possible, such players should be leased out to other willing clubs.” Advised Ntale
The player has been taken to a physician for further management.
Abdullah Mubiru, KCCA FC Head Coach when contacted, noted that he is not aware of the current mental state of Mubiru because he was fine during their last meeting.
“I always tell the players why I have not added them on the team that will be playing and so, Hassan was told the reason why he won’t be playing in our next match.”
The coach added that he is going to find out more about the current state of their player at the same time dig deep into the matter.
