Education News Uganda brings a list of top 300 schools in the 2019 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations result, released by the Minister of Education in Kampala today, January 31.
The ranking is based, primarily on the percentage of candidates passing in division one over the total number per center.
Where schools had the same share of students passing in the same division, for example for schools with 100 percent of their candidates passing in division one, we considered the quality of the grades, represented by the average aggregate score.
Based on this criteria, these are the top 300 S4 schools in Uganda, in order of rank: Bukalasa Minor Seminary (Kalungu) Lubiri Secondary School Annex (Kampala) Seeta High School (Mukono) Bp. Cipriano Kihangire Secondary School, Mt.St. Marys College Namagunga (Mukono), St. Henrys College, Kitovu all of which had all their candidates passing in first division
(see below for complete list).” alt=”” aria-hidden=”true” />
